Life has been somewhat busy for the last few months, I’ve completed a large complex two year project for my last client and moved on to a new client this week.
I’ve been staying with my girlfriends family during the week for the last three months and they’ve been wonderful and accepting, but I have missed my own space. That’s why I’m really happy about just moving into a new flat, which has been a bit of an additional challenge while changing jobs.

I was driving into work yesterday morning and i noticed a bumper stick on the car in front as a we queued for the next roundabout.
I made a note to share it before the end of the week.
“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass…It’s about learning to dance in the rain.”
Sometime we all need to learn a new dance style to progress with our lives.
Sometimes it really hard to look upon the bright side of life. It can seem like the universe is conspiring against you when you’re in that deep dark personal purgatory of self analysis.
In these darkest of moments it is all too easy to just give up and let an overwhelming wave of self pity wash over you and then drown in its wake.

I read the following article a while back and filed it under things to share in the future.
It paints an extremely accurate portrait I imagine, of the emotional rollercoaster which often occurs during a separation or divorce.

I read a quote this morning and it started me thinking. It’s just one of those simple mem quotes we find all over the Internet.

This is with luck the first of many posts that will be submitted for a reblog by followers of the blog the celebrate breaking through the 300 followers level.
Interesting enough it’s actually one I’d already saved away for a rainy day 🙂

I’ve been a bit wrapped up in real life for the last couple of months and not really been in the mood to write or post much.
However, I did notice today that the blog now has over 300 followers world wide, which is quite amazing – thank you.
It’s not the reason I started this blog or something I set out to achieve, but your support is really appreciated.
So I would like to give something back to you all.
For the month of December, I’d like to reblog posts from anyone of you who cares to share. Just add a comment to this post and a link to blog post you’d like to have rebloged. Please also include a bit about your blog and why you’re here.
I looking forward to sharing your thoughts in the coming month.
I woke up this morning to a notification from WordPress – it’s been a whole year!
I’ve also taken a snap shot of the blogs stats, while I’ve found rather surprising too.
I’d just like to say a big thank you to all those who have visited, liked and commented during the past year.
I’m looking forward to what the future brings.
I read the following blog post a while back and filed it under something to reblog in the future.
It makes some good points about the potential impact of personal insecurity and the damage it can cause to a precious relationship.
Add a liberal sprinkling of depression to the mix and you have a perfect toxic cocktail for disaster.
Definitely food for thought and make some soul searching self analysis.
