I’ve written in the past about paying relationship rent, setting the level and paying what’s fair. However, constantly over paying may well generate more issues and cause bigger problems if your not careful. This is likely to be the case if the other parties feel pressured into over paying in return.
If such a situation occurs, the level of rent perceived to be required will rapidly spiral upwards or the inadvertent increases will go unpaid. Both sceneries are not desirable and likely to end in tears for one or all parties involved.
Over performing or paying is okay once in a while but should not be considered to be the norm. It just sets the bar at an unrealistic and unsustainable level, don’t do it.
