Offspring and the lifestyle

Polyamory families and childrenMust admit this type of issue is not likely to occur for a little bit in the future for me but I can see it possibly happening.

I guess the kids already, consider us a bit odd, because we’re still married for a start, unlike many of their friends parents. They’ve also been quite accepting of what could be seen as odd behaviour,  for example mum referring to daddy as “Sir” occasionally.

I can only hope that if and when they start asking question we are wise enough to tell them who we are,  what we think and why we do what we do.

There is a fundamental part to this puzzle and it’s about being honest and truthful.

The following blog post provides a possible interesting insight into the future for me.

“I woke up this morning to a text from my friend Kate asking if I knew if my kids knew about FetLife.”

  1. Hi there! Thanks for liking my post, ‘The Tomb of Mnemosyne.’ I’ll be back to read some of your posts at a later time.
After my divorce, a few years later, my kids knew immediately what was going on whenever I got involved in a threesome. I told them exactly what was going on. Never ever lie to your kids, the damage is that they won’t trust you.

    1. I totally agree, kids are way more accepting then most so called adults.
I’m a true believer that the only stupid question is the one you don’t ask and our kids have been brought up to think the same way. I expect to questions to be raised at some point.
